I was raised in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, and grew up on the water — I've lived at the beach my whole life and always loved surfing. The joy of catching a wave is something every surfer can relate to, no matter their skill level. I spent five years as an ocean lifeguard here, and it gave me some of the best days of my life. I surf year-round — winter, spring, summer, fall — and wouldn't trade it for anything.

This idea came from loving to look back on our best surf days and realizing how many people have stories like that with nowhere to share them. This is our way of bringing surf culture together, starting right here at the Jersey Shore, and hopefully going worldwide. The surf community is one of the strongest out there, and I hope this brings people together through their stories.

I was raised in Strathmere, New Jersey, and grew up on a surfboard — I've been surfing my whole life. There's a community in surfing that I've always felt deserves to be shared more. I love that feeling of catching a good wave, paddling back out to the lineup, and having everyone hyped for you — or catching the look on someone's face when you fly by them on a wave.

This site lets surfers share their stories in a way that's casual and fun, while also showing off the boards they ride, which people are always curious about. I can't count how many times I've been out in the lineup wondering where someone got their board, or asking about the shape and dimensions. This is an easy place to tell a good surf story, add the board you caught it on, and share the pictures or clips that go with it. At the end of the day, it's about the thing every surfer loves most — catching good waves and having a good time.
